Bryson Lochte is a Santa Monica based psychiatrist providing comprehensive care to address deep-rooted conflicts and support the full expression of the self
Comprehensive Care
Dr. Lochte completed psychiatric training at UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Westwood, where he served as the Chief Resident of psychotherapy and neuromodulation. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of disorders including depression, anxiety, attachment issues, personality pathology, grief, trauma, and addiction. His treatment approach includes emotion-focused psychotherapy, ketamine assisted psychotherapy, and integrative pharmacology.

Treatment Approach
Psychiatric treatment should be a partnership with a goal not simply of coping with symptoms, but of understanding and thriving. Everyone wants to sleep soundly, work productively, have loving relationships, and live a happy and fulfilling life. Unfortunately, maladaptive thoughts and behavior patterns from the past can disrupt life with anxiety and negative mood states. Understanding the complexity of each client’s unique human existence is critical in moving away from maladaptive patterns towards and towards true healing.
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”

“Dr. Lochte has helped me become a much better and happier person. He is conservative in prescribing medications, and takes the time to find out what is bothering me and offers great suggestions.”
“I feel very fortunate to have benefited from his thoughtful and holistic approach towards medication management. He is a great listener and I feel that he really took the time to understand my experiences.”
” Dr. Lochte was extremely patient, calm, and caring and had a treatment plan that brought much relief to my loved one right away…when looking for excellence in the psychiatric field, your care doesn’t get any better.“
